When did you open?
We officially opened on the 1st September 2015.

What curriculum do you teach?
We follow the Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum in conjunction with the English National Curriculum modified for our multicultural region.
Who are you registered with?
We are a fully registered Cambridge International Examinations primary school and aim to be a full Cambridge International Examinations Secondary School within the first 2 years. This means that the school and curriculum has been designed with and approved by Cambridge International Examinations.
What age can my child start?
We take children from 5 years old into Year 1. In some cases it is possible to admit your child before they turn 5 dependent on when their birthday is. View our age group table.
Will you have a pre-school / kindergarten?
No, there are already a number of excellent nurseries in and around Krabi. We feel that working with these facilities is a far more responsible way of supporting the Krabi community.
What sort of transportation do you provide?
We offer a minibus collection and drop-off service, the bus route(s) are being modified regularly to meet demands. Please contact us for more information.
Safety is and always will be a top priority for us. We realise that road conditions are often very dangerous in this region. Therefore, transportation offered by Krabi International School is of the highest standard with maintained vehicles, monitored and tracked drivers.
What extra-curricular activities will you be offering?
We believe that extra-curricular activities are an extremely important factor to a well-rounded education and therefore we are planning to offer all of the usual fun activities including sporting events, art, languages, drama, dancing, clubs etc. in September 2017.
How many children are you able to enrol?
The campus will be built in five phases:
Phase one is completed and therefore we are able to accommodate up to 100+ children. This phase includes the primary school and primary administration block.
Phase two is completed, this includes; parent café and hydroponic farm the sports track and field, primary school modern climbing frame and ground staff workshop.
Phase three ongoing, this will include secondary school administration block and the first secondary classroom block. On completion of this phase we will be able to accommodate over 200 pupils.
Phase four and five will complete the remainder of the secondary classroom blocks and swimming pool and gymnasium. This will allow the school to accommodate up to 350 pupils.

Do you provide English as Additional Language (EAL) support?
Yes, quite often students at Krabi International School are not native English speakers and some may have no English language skills when they first arrive. Our small class sizes will allow for individualised attention by class teachers. In addition, we will be offering extra-curricular support classes. Our intention is that students should have obtained the language skills needed to fully participate in class within a short period of time.
Do you teach other languages at Krabi International School?
Yes, it is necessary for all students to learn Thai. For those students that are Thai Nationals we are also including ‘Thai as a first language’ into our curriculum. We are also offering Chinese as a third language.
What qualifications do the teachers at Krabi International School have?
All our classroom teachers will be fully qualified relevant to their position in the school. In addition, we believe that teaching the teachers is an essential obligation to our management team as no matter how old or experienced we all become we can still strive to learn each and every day.
Is there a school uniform at Krabi International School?
Yes, there is a school uniform.
